What a certificate tells you
A Certificate of Analysis lists the tests run on one batch and their results. Here's what to look for on ours.
Probiotic count
How many live cultures (CFU) were in the batch when it was made, checked against the 6 billion CFU on the label.
Purity
Microbial testing: the batch is checked for unwanted microorganisms against set limits.
Heavy metals
Levels of lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury, compared with accepted safety limits.
